Tests that took place in Hungary proved the effectiveness and safety of the drug. It can be used alone or in combination with other medications. Gentle action and the absence of side effects allow it to be used for the treatment and prevention of prostatitis in men of the older age group. In order for the drops to have the desired effect, the reception must be carried out according to the instructions.

The drops are intended for men between the ages of 18 and 80. The course of treatment is at least 30 days, in severe cases up to 45 days. It is not recommended to take breaks in taking, since the active substances must reach a certain level of concentration in the blood. The drops are taken on an empty stomach, 1-2 times a day before meals. The optimal dosage is 20 drops per 100 ml of water. For the convenience of users, the bottle is supplied with a lid with a pipette. The volume of the product is 30 ml. The permissible period of prophylaxis is 10-15 days, while it can be limited to a single dose of drops per day. Do not increase the dose, as this will lead to an increased load on the vessels and the heart. Also, the drug affects the production of a number of hormones, which can also lead to undesirable consequences.

Most often, prostatitis develops due to pathogenic bacteria, such as E. coli, Pseudomonas, Enterobacter, serration, etc. Inflammatory processes may appear due to sexually transmitted diseases caused by Trichomonas, Chlamydia, gonococci, etc. There is also nonbacterial prostatitis , causes the development of which are high pressure in the vessels of the prostate, autoimmune disorders, low motor activity or excessive physical stress, as well as psycho-emotional disorders. But in all cases, there are a number of common signs:

  • frequent urge to urinate;
  • pain and discomfort when urinating, when it feels like the bladder is not completely empty;
  • decreased potency, erection problems, decreased libido;
  • violations of reproductive function (development of infertility);
  • groin and scrotum pain;
  • unstable emotional state, anxiety, irritability;
  • sleep disorders;
  • exacerbations of prostatitis are accompanied by fever, chills and dysuria (urinary retention).

Contraindications

Tests of the drug, conducted in Hungary, did not reveal any side effects, including allergic reactions. But people who are allergic to the components of the composition should check the reaction to a reduced dose before taking it. Prostovit drops are contraindicated in childhood and adolescence, as they promote increased production of a number of hormones, including testosterone, which can adversely affect a growing body. In severe heart diseases, taking drops is possible only under the supervision of a doctor.
